NOTE: These are sample questlines & missions to demonstrate my ability to write in a wide variety of genres & IP voices. I am NOT officially affiliated with this game franchise, nor are any of the questlines above real missions for said franchise.

Quest Specifics

  • NPC Dialogue

    • ​Unique, concise, and humorous dialogue that fits the personalities of established Fortnite characters.

  • Mechanic Introduction

    • Introduction of new chapter-specific weaponry and mechanics through diegetic quest incentives.

  • Map Exploration

    • Encouragement for the player to explore the island and unvisited Points of Interest to complete quest objectives.

  • Boss Battles

    • Challenge the player to fight powerful NPCs after giving them quests that test their combat and movement skills.

Quest Designer Responsibilities

  • Designed and iterated upon engaging quests with concise, interesting dialogue


  • Researched brand IP to ensure quest objectives & dialogue made sense "in-universe" both dialectically and historically


  • Expanded upon character & location backgrounds through flavor text


  • Balanced quest rewards and quest requirements, such that no quest felt too difficult or under-/over-rewarding
